Constitutional law

Constitutional law is a branch of public law covering the rules relating to the functioning of the state. Constitutional law encompasses the legal rules affecting institutions, the norm system and the relationship between norms, and human rights. Indeed, the Canadian constitution includes a charter of rights and freedoms. Our firm has a thorough understanding of fundamental human rights. We act on behalf of our clients to protect their rights as enshrined in the constitution. Sometimes, we question the value of certain articles of legislation which we believe violate the rights of our clients.
